Blue Vision Dive Centre has grown from a young and vibrant dive charter to a PADI Gold Palm 5* IDC Resort. We are situated in Umkomaas on the Kwa-Zulu Natal South Coast of South Africa, just 30 minutes from Durban. This alone means we are in the enviable position of being able to call Aliwal Shoal our house reef which you can find out more about in our Dive Sites section.

 

Having successfully expanded our operation over the past 4 years we are still proud to be able to offer the friendly, personal and professional service that only an owner operated centre can. We are a multi-faceted dive centre which offers a comprehensive boat charter; PADI dive training; dive travel; accommodation and of course a relaxing and vibrant atmosphere!

 

We offer daily dives to the Aliwal Shoal and the local wrecks – The Produce and The Nebo as well as specialist charters to Rocky Bay, Protea Banks and of course to Port St. John’s for the Sardine Run. In terms of dive travel we regularly organize trips to Sodwana Bay, Mozambique and ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ dive destinations all around the world.

 

Being a PADI Gold Palm 5* IDC Resort we are able to offer a wide variety of courses for everyone, from those who have never dived but are curious about the underwater world, to those who are looking at going professional.

Relax in our spacious and dive specific kit up area whilst our ground crew load your kit onto one of our 8 meter super ducks; meet your dive masters who will brief you on the reef and our dive etiquette – their passion for the area is more than a little obvious as they guide your underwater explorations; feel confident in our skippers who have thousands of launches between them and can not only ensure you safety whilst on the water but have a great awareness of the sea as a whole as well as any aquatic life we may come across en-route.
